There’s nothing that we love more during Autumn and Winter than snuggling up under a warm doona/duvet. Today we’d like to introduce the folks from Mr. Fox. These guys make a range of digitally printed and super fun bedding for kids. In review today is the Sweet Monsters duvet set… and we were smitten from the moment it arrived in the KID office.
For today’s review, we’ve enlisted the help of the Brown family who were delighted to try out the Mr. Fox range… here’s a few happy snaps and some feedback.
The Sweet Monsters bedding is just adorable. It has a nice overall aesthetic that fits in well with a bright modern child’s room, but has heaps of kid appeal too. The little green monster pillow was my daughter’s instant cuddle companion while I washed everything for the first time.
Children’s bedding really needs to hold up well to frequent laundering, and the duvet came out just as white and bright without much wrinkling; important as I have no intention of ironing them (who does?). Around here everything is an opportunity for a game, so before I had a chance to get the duvet onto the bed, the many little monsters became a tent for hide and seek with her little brother, then a cuddly blanket for story-time with our other favourite monster, the Gruffalo.
The verdict… This is a cute, sturdy bedding set that we will use for years between our little monsters… I mean munchkins.
Mr. Fox is inspired by modern, vibrant, and colourful designs that kids will love. Director of the company, Manuel, says “We have 3 mums in our team with sweet kids (Martina 4, Leticia 11, Vicent 6, Pau 9, and new born Maria 11 months). They are also our in-house testers; putting new products to the test before we launch our collections”.
Mr. Fox works with 100% cotton fabrics, using the latest technology in digital printing, giving a soft finish, and long lasting colour. The collection boosts a range of carefully selected patterns, with the Mr. Fox design team preferring to use big, bold designs rather than small repeats.
